Athena Papadopoulos presents:
Recent MA Graduate Artist Presentations
Jack Brindley (RCA 2013)
Eoghan Ryan (Goldsmiths 2012)
Saturday November 22nd
Education room Ground Floor
Talk will be accompanied by an intermission as well as a reception on the patio to follow…weather pending.
This will be the second in a series of recent MA graduate presentations/talks organised by Athena Papadopoulos as a self-initiated element of her one year studio award at Chisenhale Art Place.
These presentations will be in whatever form the artist presenting chooses to take up and have been organized with the intention of creating further dialogue and space for discussion post-MA/MFA graduation and provide a platform for recent grads to experiment with different forms of ‘artist presentation/talks’.
With special thanks to Chisenhale Art Place- the Peter Lloyd Lewis Studio Award, all artists presenting and who have presented already and to Haydn Jones for his generous contribution of media devices.

Commissioned Performance as part of Marcia Farquhar’s ‘Larger than Life’ residency
We are pleased to announce the recipient of the next Studio4 residency is Reynir Hutber, in collaboration with Artsadmin.
Reynir will be in the studio from mid-November to mid-February 2015, pursuing a practice that draws on aspects of live art, installation, sculpture and digital media. This includes a series of inter-related pieces that poetically explore themes of ‘presence’, ‘visibility’ and ‘surveillance’. Because his work often has interactive and immersive qualities, the opportunities presented by the residency to share emerging work and critically discuss concepts will be key to developing and resolving new ideas. These pieces will form the basis of an upcoming solo exhibition that will debut later in the year. You can find out more about the artist at reynirhutber.blogspot.co.uk
Chisenhale Studio Artists Rebecca Glover and Haydn Jones are opening their studios on November 13th at 19:00 to present two audiovisual installations. The event will showcase works in progress and experiments from the artists’ varied practices.
