Exhibition
Studio4, our residency and project studio, will host an exhibition of work by the current year Into the Wild participants. Into the Wild is a programme devised by Chisenhale Studio artists to support and develop recent BA graduates, to thrive and survive in the artworld after college. It’s wildly successful and the group show will feature artists you’ll be seeing much more of in the future.

Performance
Facilitation Piece (for harmonious being) 2017 is new live performance by artist Monika Oechsler, in collaboration with artist & technologist Charles Gershom. This experimental work presents two simultaneous and intermittent durational performances, Live Chat & Sound Stage. Both parts explore how our perception of time and place has changed through social media interaction. Facilitation Piece (for harmonious being) has been commissioned by Chisenhale Studios for the Open Weekend with support from Chisenhale Dance Space.
Performance time: 7.30 – 8.30pm Friday 20th October at Chisenhale Dance Space.

Window Shopping
The studio artists are delighted to be running Window Shopping over the Open Weekend, an initiative to raise crucial funds to repair some of the windows in the Studios. Over 40 artists have kindly donated window-pane-sized works on paper which will be displayed and on sale for £100 each. The donated works will be available to view digitally in advance, but can only be bought in person during the weekend opening hours. Purchased work will be taken off the display once paid for, so we advise arriving early if you have your eye on something specific!
