Over four Tuesdays in August 2009  we ran a series of Art Rambles for the local community in collaboration with the Ramblers Association .

Each walk was facilitated by a different artist.
Shamim Azaad Bengali and English storyteller led a walk around Victoria Park and regaled us with tales of the park and its people.
Charlotte Mew visual poet, led us on an urban trail through the local streets, where we photographed hidden gems.
Jon George painter and print maker, explored the canal paths with us and showed us how to capture what we saw with quick pencil sketches.
Joy Girvin painter, showed us how to explore the landscape of Mile End Park using colour drawings.

These walks were jointly funded by the Ramblers Association and Chisenhale Art Place.
