About the Artist:
Charlotte Mew is a visual artist and poet who specialises in the spoken and written word. Her writing which manifests itself in contemporary culture is rigorous, lyrical and by its presentation meditative. Found objects that draw on memory are a source of further inspiration and this drop-in session playfully brings together the two.
About Summer of Art:
Chisenhale Summer of Art is a collaboration between Chisenhale Studios, Chisenhale Gallery and Chisenhale Dance Space, alongside Chisenhale Primary School’s PTA. In its second year, the Summer of Art programme offers classes in dance and art, live performances, and a festival day for our local community in Bow. Chisenhale Summer of Art is possible through funding from Action for Bow.
