Each year, Chisenhale Studios, Chisenhale Gallery and Chisenhale Dance Space open the doors of our shared building for a free weekend of open studios, tours, exhibitions, performance and events. Everyone is welcome to join us, whether you’d like to see the studios, the current exhibition or new performances – or just get a glimpse into what happens inside.

This year, Chisenhale Studios will have all forty studios open throughout the weekend, along with special event-exhibitions, book launches and guided tours.  See below for fuller information.

Also on the weekend, Chisenhale Dance Space will host two free workshops on Saturday afternoon, plus two evening performances. See their full schedule here. Chisenhale Gallery will be extending the opening hours of the current solo exhibition by artist Mandy El-Sayegh  and have a free family workshop on Saturday afternoon. More details here.

Open Studios
All forty artist studios will be open throughout the weekend.  You can view the work of the artists in each and learn more about their working processes.  Some of the work is also available to buy, so do chat with the artist if you see something you might like to purchase.  The Friday of Open Weekend tends to be a busy and fun evening.
