Chisenhale Studio Artists are delighted to be running Window Shopping over the upcoming Open WeekendWindow Shopping is an initiative to raise crucial funds to repair some of the windows in the Studios. Over 40 artists have kindly donated window-pane-sized works on paper which will be displayed and on sale for £100 each.  It’s a fantastic opportunity to buy the work of established artists with international reputations, as well as up-and-coming artists such as those taking part in our residency and Into The Wild programmes. All the funds raised will go towards the windows.

Starting early October, we will start uploading images of the artwork here on this page and on Instagram (@ChisenhaleStudios).  Although all the artwork will be available to view digitally in advance, each piece can only be bought in person during the weekend opening hours.  We recommend you arrive early if you have your eye on a specific artwork, as once it’s bought it’s gone!  Due to demand, there will be a limit of  one artwork per transaction between 6-7pm on 20th October.  Customers are welcome to purchase more than one over the opening hours, but for the first hour you’ll have to get back in the queue if there is one.

Here are images of artwork received already, with more to come. Be sure to check out Instagram for names of artists and details of work.  If you are not on social media and would like any details, do email or call us.

There are few works that have arrived today that are not on the list of works. Those artists are Joey Ryken and Nicholas Cheveldave.  Works arriving yesterday are also not uploaded here but are on the List of Works.
