Emma Gunningham is a professional painter with over 30 years of experience of tutoring students of all ages through all stages of their creative journey. In this course, Emma will introduce students to the techniques of glazing and impasto. These techniques have been used in many different ways by painters since Renaissance times and are still employed by artists working today.
Numbers are kept low to ensure that each student is given plenty of individual attention allowing them to develop their own style at their own pace. The course is suitable for beginners and more advanced students alike.
Classes will take place on Thursday evenings from 7pm to 9.30pm in our Education Space bordering the canal. Classes will begin on 5th May and run for 6 weeks. There will be no class during half term, 2nd June; the last class will be on 16th June . The cost for the full course is £90, payable in advance.
