Commissioned Performance as part of Marcia Farquhar’s ‘Larger than Life’ residency
We are pleased to announce the recipient of the next Studio4 residency is Reynir Hutber, in collaboration with Artsadmin.
Reynir will be in the studio from mid-November to mid-February 2015, pursuing a practice that draws on aspects of live art, installation, sculpture and digital media. This includes a series of inter-related pieces that poetically explore themes of ‘presence’, ‘visibility’ and ‘surveillance’. Because his work often has interactive and immersive qualities, the opportunities presented by the residency to share emerging work and critically discuss concepts will be key to developing and resolving new ideas.
