We are recruiting a Project Co-ordinator to deliver a new programme this Autumn for emerging artists. This is a freelance position approx. a day a week between mid-September through December. The actual programme will start mid-October and take place every Monday.
The person we are looking for will facilitate and co-ordinate the weekly sessions with participants, invited guest speakers and Chisenhale studio artists. They will also assist participants to produce a group show. Therefore they should have a good knowledge of the practical aspects of thriving and surviving as an artist in the initial years after completion of BA degrees. They must also have a great understanding of the wider art world and the diversity of individual career paths available to artists. With excellent communication skills and an enterprising approach, they will be confident in dealing with a range of art professionals and also able to foster a dynamic group working relationship.
