The Art of Growing Club begins the new decade on a high, with a series of exciting art workshops planned until the end of March. All our workshops are facilitated by professional artists, and are suitable for all; beginners are very welcome. We also spend time growing plants, herbs and salads on the beautiful patio outside our Education Space, which overlooks the canal. People can bring some of this home to grow on their windowsill or in their garden. We also take short walks in the local area, either along the canal or in the nearby Victoria and Mile End parks, or to local community groups, such as St Mary’s Secret Garden or to local allotments.
The Art of Growing Club takes place on Wednesday mornings during term time between 10 am and 1pm.

January 26th: Charlotte Mew will lead a workshop involving creative collage. The Women’s Environmental Network will be joining us for this session and will give us tips on creating a beautiful and healthy bloom for Spring.
February 2nd and 9th: Uliana Apatina will show us how to use music to create imaginative painting.
